Wider Earth theatre production takes place inside the iconic National History Museum and tells the story of a young Darwin the theory that changed everything through the use of puppetry and young actors. Take your toddler to a Little Zappers session at ZapSpace in Stratford – the sessions are aimed at kids and they have a soft play area there as well slides, trampolines and lots of games. So jump jump jump around!

Learn to walk a tightrope at the National Centre for Circus Arts, they host experience days at their Shoreditch centre from 2:30 til 5:30. So get your leotard on and find out if you missed out on running away with the circus! Ages 16 +
Marvellous Mistakes at the Science Museums is a storytelling session for children 6 and under and tells the stories of the most wonderful inventions that were discovered by accident. Starts at 11am and is completely free.
Let your under 17 year old have a driving lesson with Young Driver at Brent Cross shopping centre where they get to experience what real driving feels like (and have a great photo to accompany their time there.

Late Winter Bird Watching at Lee Valley Park Check out feathered residents with this lovely winter walk where you learn about birds as well as move around in the great outdoors. Remember a warm coat. Starts at 10am -12pm and costs £3
HMS Belfast is great for kids of all ages, younger family members can climb aboard and explore what life on this floating city was like. Older kids can enjoy the Damage Control – an escape room adventure where they have to try and save HMS Belfast by hunting for clues and completing a series of challenges against the clock.
The Mad Hatters Tea at Sanderson is the ideal option for all the family to enjoy. Playing homage to the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland, treats on the menu include Queen of Hearts rose and strawberry Jammy Dodger and Chocolate and pistachio blue caterpillar, as well as sandwiches of White Rabbit cucumber and cream cheese on pesto bread.
